«Tree creatures that resemble people in appearance are called Protectors of Saplings. The first varieties of Defenders to emerge from the depths of the forest were a response to the massive deforestation that Kriegmark began to practice in its early days. Before Aether Gunpowder became widely used in the war with Keld, they became the most widespread and effective way to exterminate uninvited desecrators of the forest.»
