"In the darkness of Keld's deep forest thickets lurk truly astonishing creatures that no chronicler has ever described. The Great Forest sends many beings to defend its borders, and many of them enter into a form of symbiosis with the driadints. An example of this is the wyrmglings — tree offspring often found in the company of many leaders of the forest folk. Like familiars, they follow the driadints, shielding them from the striking blows of enemies with their sturdy wooden flesh."
