The Lion Cavalry is one of Angeln’s elite combat units. Only the sons of the most noble houses receive an invitation to the academy, where from an early age they are trained and raise the beasts to whom they will entrust their lives.
Unlike the regular cavalry, the Lion Knights favor tactics of fierce, rapid strikes aimed at the most vulnerable points in the enemy’s defenses. Often, the mere sight of roaring lions charging forward with fearless riders is enough to terrify foes into abandoning even well-prepared defensive positions.
